Natura Internacional, S.L.

Natura Internacional S.L. was founded in 1989 by Dr. Govert Westerveld as a result of the sale in that year of Zoster S.A. to the firm Exquim in Barcelona, belonging to the Ferrer Group. During the years 1992 till 1999 there was a good working agreement with Exquim for the development and research of new products and in march 2002 the non-competition clauses with Exquim S.A. ended completely.

Due to the research activities of Natura Internacional S.L. - their owner, Dr. Govert Westerveld was co-founder of Zoster S.A. - their products produced in the different Spanish industries, mostly according to buyer's instructions, continue to be distinguished with a war ds and to be leaders in the international markets.

For citrus derivatives such as he sweetener Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone and Soluble Citrus Extracts new sophistic applications were created before 1989, thus before the sale of Zoster S.A. to Exquim. This way of marketing is only possible by means of an intensive collaborationship with the University of Murcia and international business contacts. Therefore the the university of Murcia has played an important rule in the development of natural raw materials. Murcia therefore can be proud to have world's most important producer of Naringin, Hesperidin, Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone and other Citroflavonoids.

It is the aim of Natura Internacional to export not only raw materials in standard qualtities, but also to have manufactured them with an additional value by producing sophisticated up-to-date qualities. To safeguard in future human health many times citrus by-products are used that otherwise would damage the natural environment. As from 1989 Natura Internacional is actively participating in creating new products for the different export markets. Also new application ways are found for several existing products, among them the lemon peels for which a lot of new applications were found.

Many food ingredients are now exported thanks to the multi-field activity and experience of Natura Internacional S.L. that has diversified their activities into additives for health food, flavours, colours, sugars, feed flavours, pharmaceuticals, nutraceutical and functional food ingredients.

We have established long term relationship with many companies and manufacturers in North America, Europe and Southeast Asian countries. Such relationship has made it possible that we can make our presence in many markets rapidly.
